I help clients use storytelling techniques that get audiences to understand, empathize and act. 

I’ve been a resource for public defenders to apply narrative strategies that get juries to empathize and act on behalf of the client. My consultations have an 80% success rate of dropped or reduced charges, hung juries, and settlements, including five acquittals in trials involving 25-year to life sentences.

I work with Personal Injury lawyers derives and craft wrongful death damages awards narratives (with over $5M in client compensation), and I work with Family Law attorneys to create divorce declarations for use in mediation.

I consult with social justice organizations to identify issues and create narratives that inspire empathy and change, covering topics as far-ranging as racism in healthcare, the impact of gentrification in low-income neighborhoods, gender roles in the workplace, and voter fears and hope for general elections.

I use storytelling to identify audience experience for advertising, marketing, education and non-profits. My clients include Microsoft, Nike, A&E Television, and Hewlett-Packard, as well as non-profit foundations.
